Rudest employees I have ever dealt with. I had been on the road for e hours so I went straight to the restroom. Immediately a employee knocked on the door but didn't say anything. This happened 3 times in 5 minutes and not a word. Highly disrespectful!
It's Krystal. You either love the food or you hate it! I love it! From their breakfast to their burgers it's all good! However the restroom facilities at the Athens Alabama location are terrible! There's no locks on the doors, door is missing on one of the stalls, and one has been out of order for months. They are in need of a total update. I think it represents Athens Alabama poorly.
Nov 3, 2017 Returned on Nov 3 at 8pm to give them another chance. Worse! They weren't busy with customers but very busy arguing with each other. Our cashier even tried to get my husband and me involved in the argument. She continued arguing with the cooks while taking our order and doing a lot of eye rolling. I was extremely disappointed in my order. The chicken club was almost $3 and the same size as a reg Kystal burger. The bacon was somehow too hard to chew but didn't crumble. Then as we began to leave I visited the women's restroom to find one stall locked with a out of order sign and the other stall's door completely missing. For some unknown reason some one had put shipping tape where the door hinged on, if there had been a door. As we exited the building the arguing had ceased and the cashier was in the lobby watching tv. We are not giving this place a third chance.
The employees rarely exhibit good customer service skills. They speak so fast that it's hard to understand. But it's fast food, and they usually get our orders right, so I guess we can't be too picky.
I tried the five item deal. Chose 3 Krystals, small fries, and a small Coke. It was all good and would have been a five star performance. Krystal devotees will disagree, and I get it. But for me the standard fixings are over the top. Combining mustard with a liberal dose of raw onion and a very generous amount of dill pickle slices gave the sandwich an overwhelming sour taste. I removed most of the toppings from remaining two and was quite happy with the less dressed version.
Good service and food. But the women's bathroom had no door on the toilet area plus the lock didn't work on the main door. I had to have my husband stand guard.
