My experience today was very rude and disrespectful from the officer that came to my house! ! I have been having problems for at least 7 months with my neighbors. We share a divided driveway and when I come home from my daughters ball games they have driveway and yard blocked so we can't get it! ! The last draw when I came in from the hospital and can't get in! ! Every time I have to blow my horn and they never hears me so I have to go knock on the door and ask them can I please get in the entire time my vehicle is in the streets. One of those night the neighbor he came to my truck and threatened me and cursed me out in front of my daughter! ! But when I call the police the home owners wife and husband claim they can't speak English and the problem is still going on! ! I called the police and tried to explain to the officer I am tired and I just want us to get along! ! We have to share this driveway and I am part of a youth organization and sometimes the youth comes over here and work on their projects but now some of them feel threatened and so do I! ! My neighbor had a relative over there Friday April 1st 2017 because we had an accident where one of the youth hit the neighbors mail box and the neighbors visitors was rude to the youth! ! The police from Friday was very nice and respectful trying to help the youths !! The officer that came today suggest that I extend the driveway more on my side to make it bigger for me and my neighbor! ! I feel the officer that came on April the 2nd around 1130 this morning was very unprofessional! ! He seem not to even care about the issue about my neighbors threatening me! ! My neighbor has his own construction business but he tells the police he couldn't speak English but the night he threatened me he spoke English and the man that was arguing Friday night and frightened the youth could speak English! ! I just feel that the office that came out didn't do anything to diffuse the situation! ! I feel that the officer giving me advice on how to expand my driveway should have been giving it to my neighbor who keeps blocking the driveway and threatening me! ! The officer is not a contractor so he shouldn't been trying to tell me to extend my driveway. He should have been concentrating on how to diffuse the situation about me and my children being safe and able to get into to our yard without feeling threatened or frightened! ! Also if the officer wants to be a landscaper and he feels like the city needs to improve the driveway then the officer needs to take his opinion to the city of Athens! ! Second of all my neighbor owns his own construction business why the officer didn't tell him how to expand his driveway since that is the kind of work my neighbor does! !! I want Athens city police to know that I was not satisfied at all with this officer behavior today and I will be there tomorrow to talk to the chief of police! !!!! The ALABAMA LAW STATES THAT IF I FEEL THREATENED THAT I HAVE THE RIGHT TO PROTECT MYSELF, MY DAUGHTER AND MY PROPERTY! ! I DEFINITELY DO FEEL THREATENED AND I HAVE TOLD ATHENS CITY POLICE THIS SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY HAVEN'T DID ANYTHING TO HELP SOLVE THIS MATTER! !!!! AND THEY ARE TO PROTECT AND SERVE THE PUBLIC !! REALLY! ! SMH! !

If I could give 0 stars or negative stars I would! This is the most disgusting, despicable, horrendous excuse for a police department in the USA. Please DO NOT call this department for help, they are EXTREMELY lackadaisical, rude and uncaring jerks. When you call them for "help" or assistance, they act as if you are bothering them from a vacation or as if they are not getting paid via taxpayers to do their jobs and just sitting around volunteering from the goodness of their hearts. I cannot believe so called professionals are allowed to behave in such a disgusting manner. I would not call these poor excuse for human life for help if Jesus himself told me to do so. Shame on Athens for having such vile low-lives to represent a PD. Trust me, the only morons giving them any rating above a 1 are internal employees. Don't even try to rid of my comment, I'll just continue to repost. Good day.
