I love the Free concerts in the park all summer....gets the kids out of the house and out from in front of their computers and phones for the night....and I get to relax and enjoy the music. Great way to spend a Monday!!

Nice little park located close to city center. Downtown shops within walking distance. Bathrooms and a duck pond.

A nice peaceful park to hangout at with friends, family or a significant other. Also a great spot if you play Pokemon GO. There's 3 Pokestops and even a Pokemon gym right there at the park.

Wanted to take my 10 month old daughter to see the ducks. We were the only ones in the park until a couple in a cream pontiac suv pulled up and watched me and my daughter. Older woman and middle aged man smoking cigarettes in the first handicap spot. Felt weird so i went over to the food dispenser, they then pulled up parallel to the curb, following me. I grabbed my keys and started to my car beside the tennis courts while calling my husband. As soon as I put my phone to my ear, they sped off. They were watching me closely. I'm new to town and it was my first time bringing my daughter. I thought it was a nice park but now I'm not so sure.

Lovely park in Athens, AL! Enjoyable surroundings and family friendly. The ducks are so sweet - there are stations where you can pay to feed them. The koi pond is very relaxing. There's a pavilion w picnic tables and bathrooms - the bathrooms are terrible, though. No doors for the stalls... One other nice feature is the play area.
